What They Are Saying
"My wife Kelly and I decided to have a quiet barefoot beach wedding on the big island of Hawaii in 2008. Since we are not terribly religious, we wanted something and someone who could give us a simple, no-frills service. Short & sweet.

We found Pomaika'i on-line. We discussed what we wanted by email and thought we'd want to have the service in the afternoon. She advised against it because of the heat and we wouldn't have the sunset so familiar to that area. Good advice! When we first met her at Anaehoomalu Bay (A Bay) which she highly recommended, frankly we were a little concerned about the set up. THAT didn't last long.

Pomaika'i explained the significance of each part of the traditional Hawaiian service and kept us calm. It turned out to be such an incredible experience Kelly and I consider not just our wedding, but the entire experience with Pomaika'i the highlight of our trip.

If you are looking for a gracious, warm, and easy-going person who creates a truly memorable ceremony, I cannot overstate how lucky we were to hire Pomaika'i.

Pomaika`i,

Thank you so very much for hosting, performing and facilitating the most incredibly, perfect wedding ceremony for us.  We so enjoyed being with you those days before and the day of the wedding.  You are a beautiful gift - which we are blessed to know.

Love, Brenda and John
